BIG BIG Monster Mandarin for Kids is designed especially for highschool students who can benefit most from a structured learning style + interactive, chat and voice-memo based homework.
 
We start with BIG BIG Monster Mandarin's structure, which includes formal initial, final, and tone components (pinyin) and combine that with engaging and interactive in-class quizes, in-between-class homework, and private tone and pronunciation practice and correction to ensure a proper Mandarin Chinese accent.
 
This class also requires comprehensive quarterly assessments so you'll know how your kids are doing over time and what areas they will need to focus on for the next quarter.
 
Note: BIG BIG MM for Kids is designed from our favorite Mandarin Chinese textbooks including some from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai. 
 
Homework in Bite-Sized, Continuous Engagement Form
 
We believe that constant engagement makes for the best reinforcement and enjoyment, which in turns translates into the most effective learning experience. 
 
For homework assignments we utilize a chat-based platform, such as Facebook Messenger to do voice memo-based feedback to ensure proper tone and syllable pronunciation. Speaking and listening feedback is critical to learning a tone-based language. 
 
In addition there will be written and multiple-choice based homework assignments that coincide with the voice memo-based tone and syllable pronunciation homework.
